This Petrus Peregrinus Medal has been established by the Division on Magnetism, Palaeomagnetism, Rock Physics & Geomaterials in recognition of the scientific achievements of Petrus Peregrinus, to be awarded for outstanding scientific contributions in the field of magnetism and palaeomagnetism.
