Description

The Master’s in MSc in Environmental Change, Impact and Adaptation is your opportunity to study the latest understanding of environmental change and our efforts to plan for and manage future environmental change. Having completed your undergraduate degree in a related field, this MSc will enable you to bring your skills and knowledge up to date with a view to continuing in employment or further research.

This highly practical Master’s course includes a one-week residential fieldwork module and combines the most recent theories and developments in geographical, earth and environmental sciences. You will critically assess the evidence for environmental change across different geographies, ecosystems and temporal scales; you will gain experience in field techniques for data collection; you will examine the historic, present and future risks posed to human societies; and you will critically evaluate solutions proposed to address challenges arising from environmental and climatic change.
