A brochure on TROICA experiments is available online
Date: 20 January 2010
A brochure “Atmospheric composition observations over Northern Eurasia using the mobile laboratory: TROICA experiments” is published by International Science and Technology Center.
This brochure summarizes the long-term studies of the atmosphere within the framework of the international TROICA experiments (TRanscontinental Observations Into the Chemistry of the Atmosphere). The data presented in the brochure were obtained in the framework of the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) projects which were carried out by a team of scientists and engineers of the A.M. Obukhov Institute of Atmospheric Physics, L.Ya. Karpov Research Institute of Physical Chemistry, Russian Research Institute of Railway Transport, Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, Earth System Research Laboratory NOAA, and other Russian, German, Finnish, and Austrian institutions. TROICA experiments made it possible to increase significantly the information on the atmospheric condition over northern Eurasia. The TROICA experiments and measurements continue to run on a regular basis, being an important tool of atmosphere monitoring in Russia.
