Message from the President after EGU 2011
Dear all,
After a very successful EGU meeting, I would like to thank the conveners and co-conveners for their efforts to organize very interesting thematic sessions that were well received. I would also like to briefly inform you about some important changes in our division:
1. The ppt presentation of the business meeting can be downloaded here.
2. We would like to thank Mioara again for her excellent work as the EMRP Division President over the past four years. We also thank Phil and Nicolas for their wonderful job done during the last years as Vice-Presidents. New Vice-Presidents have been proposed and approved (Angelo De Santis and Jerome Gattacceca). Sergio Vinciguerra has joined us as a Division Secretary (Outreach). New medal chairs have been appointed (P. Meredith for Neel medal and D. Gubbins for Peregrinus medal).
3. The deadline for receiving nominations for the EGU Award and Medal is fixed on 15 June 2011. Nominations must be proposed as indicated on http://www.egu.eu/awards-medals/proposal-and-selection-of-candidates.html and are only received through the e-mail address awards.medals@egu.eu. They will be checked by the EGU Office and then forwarded to the relevant Medal Committee Chair. Nominations for the Outstanding Young Scientist Award (http://www.egu.eu/awards-medals/proposal-and-selection-of-candidates.html ) are to be sent to the relevant Division President by 15 June.

MPRG news after EGU2010: message from the president

After a very successful EGU meeting, I would like to inform you about some important changes in our division life, briefly:

2.We would like to thank Georg and Cor for their wonderful job done during the last years as Medal Committee leaders. New chairs have been proposed and appointed (P. Meredith for Neel medal and D. Gubbins for Peregrinus medal).
