About Walter Schmidt
Dr. Walter Schmidt holds a Project Manager position in the Earth Observation division of the Finnish Meteorological Institute in Helsinki, Finland. He manages the desgin, manufacturing and operation of several space-born instruments for planetary research and is the technical manager of the Europlanet integrated data system. His scientific interest is focused on solar wind observations, planetary atmospheres and cometary research.
