Call for session submission for the JpGU meeting 2010 Category: EGU
Japan Geoscience Union (JpGU) is now soliciting submissions of scientific sessions for the 2010 annual meeting (May 23-27 2010 at Makuhari, Chiba, Japan).JpGU is the biggest and the only one earth & planetary science related union in Japan. It consists of more than 40 societies that cover most of related scientists of more than 15,000 members. The annual meeting is held at the same venue as above and gets more than 4,000 participants together every year with more than 100 sessions. In order to promote international activities of JpGU, we are organizing international sessions for which English is used for presentations. Anyone can propose an international session from anywhere in the world through webpage below. International sessions of JpGU provides a perfect arena for presenting results of researches, discussing problems and exchanging information for the cutting edge subjects on earth and planetary sciences. In particular, JpGU is now seeking for a much stronger collaboration with EGU for promoting international scientific collaboration between Japanese and European scientists. For this purpose, we are proposing you to organize EGU-JpGU joint sessions in the above meeting. Upon mutual approval from JpGU and EGU council meetings, the session is classified as EGU-JpGU joint session for which the session is considered as an official session of both EGU and JpGU.
