M. Teresa Mariucci

for her publication in Tectonics: "Recent tectonic evolution and present stress in the Northern Apennines (Italy)"

Teresa Mariucci graduated in geology from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", Italy, in 1992, with a thesis in Structural Geology. After experience as freelance geologist she joined, in 1995, the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica in Rome as fellowship-holder and got an E.C. grant (project n.EVSV-CT94-0464 "GeoModAp"). Since then she has been collaborating on the research project about the present-day stress field in Italy, analysing mainly borehole breakout data and other active stress indicators. Last year she also collaborated with Enterprise Oil Italiana S.p.A.
