If you can not make it to Vienna in April, you can still watch EGU press conferences, as well as selected Union-wide sessions, live via webstream, as well as ask questions to panellists.
How to access press conferences remotely
- You can live stream press conferences of interest by clicking the respective links in the press conference page or the webstreaming page of the EGU General Assembly website, which will be active once the event starts. The webstreaming page on egu2019.eu also includes link to other sessions that will be live streamed during the EGU meeting.
- If you wish to ask questions remotely during press conferences, you can do so using the chat window you'll find below the web stream for each press conference. Please provide your name and affiliation and indicate who your question is for when asking. Be courteous and respectful and make sure to protect your private information. During each press conference, a member of the EGU press team will monitor the chat and read your questions out loud.
- After the press conference is over, the video will be made available online via the same link where the event was webstreamed.
- You may access electronic versions of handouts, power point slides, press releases, or other relevant documents from the Documents section on this website, which will be updated frequently throughout the conference.
For more information, check the press conferences page on this website.
