Job description

Postdoctoral researcher position at Laboratory for Ice Core and Paleoclimate (LICP) in Seoul National University, South Korea

LICP (http://icecore.snu.ac.kr) is looking for motivative postdoctoral researchers who are interested in greenhouse gas dynamics in earth system. The main researches focus on CO2, CH4 and N2O in ice cores and firn airs from Antarctica and Greenland. The job may also include greenhouse gas emissions form permafrost in the past and present. The position is initially for one year, but can be extended 1-3 years based on accomplishments. The researcher may take advantage of network of the LICP and collaborate with scientists in US, Denmark, Japan and China as well as domestic institutions such as Korea Polar Research Institute and Yonsei University.
