The University of Liege, Belgium, invites applications for a 1-year Postdoctoral Research position. The project should be focussed on experimental petrology related to Planetary Sciences (Mercury, Moon, Mars), ore deposits, liquid immiscibility, magma genesis and differentiation. The candidate is expected to have expertise in experimental petrology, geochemistry and/or numerical modelling. French-speaking skills are non-compulsory.
Applicants should have obtained their PhD within the last 5 years. Start date is August 1st 2019 and the contract will end on June 30th 2020 (11-month contract). A competitive salary will be offered and research funds are available. Opportunities will be offered for continuation pending funding and progress.
