Job description

Geophysics.Online is looking for Editorial Board (EB) members of GEODESY (ISSN 2832-4773, eISSN 2832-4781). We are committed to focusing on a broad and diverse pool of candidates.

GEODESY is an Open Access, all-encompassing peer-reviewed classical scholarly journal publishing significant new research from all Earth and planetary geodesy fields. These fields cover but are not limited to theoretical geodesy. The journal thus publishes in 10 categories: geodetic applications, control, data, methods, software, and theory, as well as mathematical, physical, planetary, and space geodesy.

Qualifications

Minimum:
- Ph.D. in geodesy/geodetic science or a closely related field,
- active scientific research experience in geodesy or a related field of minimum 5 years,
- a record of English-language publications in peer-reviewed journals from categories of the journal,
- excellent command of the English language with highly developed communications skills.

Desired:
- journal editing experience (at any responsibility level),
- 10+ years of research experience (at any responsibility level),
- a substantial output in peer-reviewed journals from categories of the journal as the sole or lead author,
