The Climate Dynamics group in the Department of Oceanography and International Pacific Research Center (IPRC) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work with Assoc. Prof. Malte Stuecker on the dynamics of tropical climate variability and their utility in constraining the pattern of warming in response to external forcing.
Requirements are a background in climate dynamics, strong data analysis skills, and familiarity with conducting numerical model experiments. A PhD from an accredited college or university in Atmospheric Science, Oceanography, or related subject is required.
The researcher will closely collaborate with scientists at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
