International Society for Environmental Biogeochemistry brings together a broad spectra of scientists (microbiologists, soil scientists, chemists, mineralogists, ocean scientists and other) working on biogeochemical processes  in the marine and terrestrial systems. The meeting will consist of several thematic sessions led by keynote speakers who are experts in their field. The middle day of the Symposium is a field trip which this year will include an opportunity to visit the Great Barrier Reef.
