The International ECSA Citizen Science Conference is aimed at scientists, practitioners, activists, funders, policy makers in the field of citizen science, non-governmental organizations, artists, and interested citizens. The last conference hosted 368 participants from 30 countries. 

The role that citizen-science plays in grass root organisations,  empowering individual citizens and increasing scientific literacy will be one of the primary discussion topics.
