Union representative of the Early Career Scientists of the European Geosciences Union

I am a postdoc in geomechanics and fracture flow at Heriot-Watt University (UK) but I have a multi-disciplinary background ranging from soils science to fluid transport.
As Union wide ECS representative I’m planning to continue the work in strengthening the position of ECS within the EGU community by ensuring the positive collaboration between Division ECS continues. In addition I want to work on involving the ECS community in programme design and hosting of events of particular interest for ECS not only for the GA but throughout the year as well.
