Each year, EGU honours individuals and teams for their significant contributions to the Earth, planetary, and space sciences by bestowing more than 50 medals and awards during the spring General Assembly. Any EGU member can nominate someone for an award or medal, and the process is probably easier than you think, so submit a nomination by 15 June 2026 and get your friends and colleagues the recognition they deserve! 

The European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC) invites you to the upcoming launch of their latest Commentary on “Energy System Integration” on Thursday 16 April.

ERE @ EGU26

The ERE Dinner will take place on Thursday 7th of May @19h 

The dinner aims to create a relaxed and convivial atmosphere where all ERE members can come together to connect, share insights, and foster new collaborations. Please register before Monday 4th of May.

If you submitted an abstract to an ERE session or a co-organized session at the GA 2026, you are welcome to submit a manuscript for publication to the ERE Special Issue 2026 in Advances in Geosciences (ADGEO).

📍 Submissions are open from 1 April to 31 May 2026
