SCIENCE-POLICY OPPORTUNITY

The COP30 will take place this November 10-21 in Belém, Brazil. This is an opportunity for the ERE community to feature your climate change related research, and potentially engage directly with other participants at COP30, including policymakers, government officials, and the press.

The COP30 Presidency has requested the creation of a "Science Pavilion", and entrusted the development of the programme and overall coordination to a group of Brazilian and international academic and research institutes involved in Earth system science and global sustainability. In order to maximise the public engagement of scientists on the ground in Belém, the conveners are compiling a list of scientists interested in participating in the Science Pavillion and other associated activities during COP30.

JOIN THE ERE TEAM!

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team! Help us shape the community by contributing to the ERE EGU blog, running our social media channels, and organising activities at the General Assembly.

It’s a great opportunity to connect with researchers across disciplines, gain science communication experience, and make your mark within the EGU community.
