Dear Colleagues,

Thank you to all of you who attended the first event of the Ocean Sciences Campfire Series! We had two inspiring talks by Dr. Alejandro Román (ICMAN) and Dr. Nicholas Sanchez (GEOMAR) followed by a lively discussion, and are already looking forward to the next Campfire on 28 May. Before that, however, our attention is focused on the EGU General Assembly, which is soon approaching. The EGU General Assembly 2026 is nearly here! It will take place in Vienna, Austria and online 3-8 May 2026. 

Outstanding ECS Award Lecture
