Issue 8, October 2026

Dear Colleagues,
Thank you very much to everyone who submitted a session proposal for the EGU General Assembly in 2027 and to Maxime Keutgen De Greef for giving a very insightful presentation at the the 4th Ocean Sciences Campfire on 29th September! We are also very happy to report that the EGU Ocean Sciences Early Career Scientists (ECS) team is growing in size after receiving many applications from enthusiastic ECS around the world, and we look forward to welcoming the new cohort of team members later this month. If you have any suggestions or ideas for new activities to organise in 2027, please get in touch with us, we are always keen to engage more with the wider community.

Best wishes,
Arianna Olivelli (ECS Representative), Daisy Pickup (Newsletter lead) & the rest of the OS ECS Team
