HIGHLIGHTS

In July, the EGU launched a call for candidates for the next EGU Treasurer and Division Presidents. Until 15 September, you are welcome and encouraged to nominate yourself using the form on the EGU website.

EGU, through Copernicus Meetings, has also launched the call for EGU 2017 General Assembly session proposals in the past month. Please submit your session proposals online by 9 September.

July was also a particularly busy month on the EGU blogs. We are revamping the EGU blog network and have launched a call for new bloggers to join us (deadline 8 August). In addition, three new blogs joined the EGU division blogs: Earth and Space Science Informatics, Planetary Sciences, and Tectonics and Structural Geology. Find out more at blogs.egu.eu/divisions.
