Job description

The Center of Science for Development in Digital Agriculture – CCD-AD/SemeAr has opened a postdoctoral position in hydrological modeling. Applicants candidates must have a graduate degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering or Forestry Engineering. The candidate should have received a Ph.D. title within the last 7 years, with experience in agronomy, soil science and hydrological modelling with the SWAT model (Soil and Water Assessment Tools).
Desired attributes:
Applicants must have experience with remote sensing and hydrological modeling using the SWAT model (Soil and Water Assessment Tools; Q-SWAT and R- SWAT), knowledge of the Python and R programming language, knowledge in the Brazilian soil classification system, knowledge in geographic database, with pedological and meteorological information, Publication track record in a field relevant to the Project, Good oral and written and communication skills.

The position is open to brazilians and foreigners. The selected applicant will receive a FAPESP PD Fellowship with a monthly grant of R$ 9,047.40 and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
