It covers the altitude range from the land and ocean surface up to the turbopause, including the troposphere, stratosphere and mesosphere.

Atmospheric Measurement Techniques (AMT) & Discussions (AMTD)

Atmospheric Measurement Techniques (AMT) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and discussion of advances in remote sensing, in-situ and laboratory measurement techniques for the constituents and properties of the Earth's atmosphere.

Biogeosciences (BG) & Discussions (BGD)

Biogeosciences (BG) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and discussion of research articles, short communications and review papers on all aspects of the interactions between the biological, chemical and physical processes in terrestrial or extraterrestrial life with the geosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere. The objective of the journal is to cut across the boundaries of established sciences and achieve an interdisciplinary view of these interactions. Experimental, conceptual and modelling approaches are welcome.

Climate of the Past (CP) & Discussions (CPD)

Climate of the Past (CP) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and discussion of research articles, short communications and review papers on the climate history of the Earth.

Earth System Dynamics (ESD) & Discussions (ESDD)

Earth System Dynamics (ESD) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of studies that take an interdisciplinary perspective of the functioning of the whole Earth system and global change.

The overall behavior of the Earth system is strongly shaped by the interactions among its various component systems, such as the atmosphere, cryosphere, hydrosphere, oceans, pedosphere, lithosphere, and the inner Earth, but also by life and human activity. ESD solicits contributions that investigate these various interactions and the underlying mechanisms, ways how these can be conceptualized, modelled, and quantified, predictions of the overall system behavior to global changes, and the impacts for its habitability, humanity, and future Earth system management by human decision making.

eEarth (eE) & Discussions (eED)

eEarth (eE) was an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of short, topical papers in the Earth Sciences. eEarth stopped its business in summer 2009 (libraries will stay online).

The successor is the journal Solid Earth.

EGU Reprint Series

EGU Reprint Series 2, 2003
Title: Dynamic Hydrology
Author: P. S. Eagleson

The aim of the EGU Reprint Series is to make important, "classical" work in the Earth, Planetary and Solar System Sciences that is currently not available for purchase anymore accessible to the EGU members and, in particular, to the younger and more recently established colleagues at a high quality reprint level but, at the same time, at low concession rates.

EGU Reprint Series

EGU Reprint Series 1, 2003
Title: Linear Theory of Hydrologic Systems
Author: J. C. I. Dooge

Geophysical Research Abstracts (GRA)

Geophysical Research Abstracts (GRA) is a publication of collections of short summaries (abstracts) of up-to-date research in the Earth, planetary and space sciences in separate volumes. The collections may include summaries of presentations at scientific meetings or extended summaries on well defined topics compiled by editors or organizations.

Geoscientific Model Development (GMD) & Discussions (GMDD)

Geoscientific Model Development (GMD) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of the description, development and evaluation of numerical models of the Earth System and its components.

Hydrology and Earth System Sciences (HESS) & Discussions (HESSD)

Hydrology and Earth System Sciences (HESS) is an international two-stage open access journal for the publication of original research in hydrology, placed within a holistic Earth System Science context. The discussion and peer-review of submitted papers are handled in the open access discussion journal HESSD. Final papers, upon acceptance, appear in HESS. HESS encourages and supports fundamental and applied research that seeks to understand the interactions between water, earth, ecosystems and man. A multi-disciplinary approach is encouraged that enables a broadening of the hydrologic perspective and the advancement of hydrologic science through the integration with other cognate sciences, and the cross-fertilization across disciplinary boundaries.

Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences (NHESS)

Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences (NHESS) is an international and interdisciplinary journal for the publication of original research concerning natural hazards. New perspectives for the understanding and tackling of natural hazards will arise by considering the subject form a broad base where the separate geosciences merge. NHESS serves the community of geoscientists concerned with natural hazards and also those interacted in publishing communications regarding interdisciplinary problems arising from difficulties encountered in the tackling of the mitigation of risks associated with natural hazards.
