Publications
EGU supports 20 interactive, publicly peer-reviewed and open access journals, alongside our 100% free to use and open preprint repository, EGUsphere. All publications, whether as a final peer reviewed article or a preprint on the EGUsphere platform, are assigned a digital object identifier (DOI) to protect the intellectual rights of the author and provide a transparent review and publications process. The EGU journals are indexed in the Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, etc. We refrain from displaying the journal metrics here since citation metrics used in isolation do not describe importance, impact, or quality of a journal. However, these metrics can be found on the websites of the respective journals.

Earth Observation (EO) is a not-for-profit interdisciplinary and international journal dedicated to the public discussion and open-access publication of high-quality studies and original research on Earth observation technologies and methods. EO implements a two-stage publication process.
Earth Surface Dynamics (ESurf)
Earth Surface Dynamics (ESurf) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and discussion of high-quality research on the physical, chemical, and biological processes shaping Earth's surface and their interactions on all scales. The main subject areas of ESurf comprise field measurements, remote sensing, and experimental and numerical modelling of Earth surface processes, and their interactions with the lithosphere, biosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and pedosphere.
Geochronology (GChron)
Geochronology (GChron) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the discussion and publication of high-quality research on the physical, chemical, and biological processes used to quantify time in all environmental and geological settings throughout Earth's history.Preprint server
EGUsphere
EGUsphere is the not-for-profit, open access, and interactive repository of the EGU’s publications; bringing together preprints, conference abstracts and conference presentations on a platform that provides researchers with a digital space to engage in discussion.
