Join us on the first Monday of every month to discuss how researchers can more effectively engage with policymaking, get the scoop on upcoming science for policy opportunities, and virtually mingle in a relaxed, informal environment. You’ll be met with people working at the science-policy interface as well as others who may be interested in doing so!

How can we measure and value the contributions of science to policy and public engagement? This month, Damla Posta, the science policy assistant at EGU, is going to present on monitoring the impact of science and evidence on policy, inspired by the JRC Handbook. She is going to share insights on the types of policy impact, some methods to measure them, and issues in measuring them. This session is based on the EGU26 session "Measuring and Valuing Science for Policy and Engagement Impact."
