Description
Since 2004, this Master’s become one of the premier international applied MSc Courses on the geology of reservoirs . The 2-years programme is divided into 4-semestres : S1&2: structured teaching (fundamental Earth sciences: basin analysis, sedimentology, tectonics, hydrology) + intense field training. S3: Application of these skills to Reservoir Geology (75%-courses taught by professionals), S4: internship in industry, consultant, R&D, research agencies, in France/Europe/World. Graduates are employed worldwide by international petroleum and mining companies (exploration, reservoir), consultant, contractors, and research agencies, environmental and water ressources industries. A significant number of graduates enrol for further PhD research in Earth sciences.
