A freely available educational comic book designed for primary school pupils explains the origin and behaviour of Earth’s geomagnetic field and its importance for life on our planet.

The comic "When the Earth Flares Up – The Story of the Geomagnetic Field" combines storytelling, illustrations, and simplified scientific explanations to make geophysics and planetary magnetism accessible and engaging for younger audiences. The comic was developed as part of the outreach activities of the Institute of Geophysics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
