Apply now: Science for Policy online workshop series

The EGU Science for Policy Working Group is launching the first online Science for Policy Workshop series that aims to provide EGU members with practical skills, tools, and confidence to engage with policy practitioners and support them in decision-making. Participants will be guided in navigating EU policy processes, communicating research effectively, and strengthening the impact of their scientific expertise in policy contexts.

The workshop series will be held by Laura Danilaviciute, a Policy Consultant at the ZOE Institute for Future-fit Economies, where she works on EU governance, capacity building, and strengthening connections between scientific knowledge and policymaking processes. She has extensive experience supporting policy development and implementation at European and national levels. She has previously worked as a Senior Policy Advisor for the UK Government, with the European Commission as an external evaluator on biodiversity governance, and as a national expert intern supporting better regulation and impact assessment processes.

The workshop series consists of four sessions:

This workshop series is free and open to all EGU members. To join the workshop series, interested participants should answer all the pre-workshop questions below in English. As the workshop sessions are sequential, we kindly ask applicants to confirm they can attend all four sessions before registering their interest.

We encourage interested participants to submit their applications as soon as possible, as the application window will be closed once the maximum number of participants is reached.
