Propose Your EGU26 GeoVision Act!

Welcome to the sign-up form of NET19: Geovision Night!

GeoVision Night offers a space to celebrate science beyond the lecture halls. An evening where geoscience meets music and art, and where we celebrate the creativity, diversity, and spirit of our community together.

If you'd like to contribute to the GeoVision line-up, please submit your act proposal using this form by end of day 13 April, 2026 (23:59 CEST). For a chance to participate in the friendly competition, include a short description of the performance you would like to present, along with your technical requirements. Note that each act is limited to a maximum of 3 minutes and that all contributors must be registered EGU26 on-site participants. If your performance involves a group, one contact person is sufficient. We will reach out to the designated contact to clarify details.

As this networking event has a limited time slot, we ask participants to ensure that their setup is reasonable for a 3‑minute act and that any required audio or video material is provided in advance. Instruments available for use on-site will include: a violin, guitar, and keyboard. Otherwise, we welcome you to bring your own instrument(s), if possible, or pre-record your musical material.

The GeoVision organising team will pre-select 10 entries from the proposals submitted. You will be notified whether your act has been selected on 14 April to ensure sufficient time for preparation prior to EGU26.

All song suggestions and lyrics must be appropriate for a social event at the EGU General Assembly 2026, and must be in alignment with the EGU Code of Conduct. If upon review the organisers feel that your song choice is not appropriate, they can ask you to present another choice, or pull in one of the wait-listed participants.

We’re looking forward to your contributions!
