A successful applicant is expected to work interdisciplinary with other members, including graduate students, with special emphasis on the history of subduction in Northeast Asia and the Pacific.

The Research Center for Deep-Surface Coupling of Earth (DSCE) of Seoul National University in Korea is seeking a postdoctoral scientist with expertise in numerical modeling of subduction zones and Geodynamics. DSCE, a 7-year program funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea, is entering its third year. Current members’ backgrounds include geophysics, geochemistry, and geology.
