Job description

The Research Center for Deep-Surface Coupling of Earth (DSCE) of Seoul National University in Korea is seeking a postdoctoral scientist with expertise in numerical modeling of subduction zones and Geodynamics. DSCE, a 7-year program funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea, is entering its third year. Current members’ backgrounds include geophysics, geochemistry, and geology. A successful applicant is expected to work interdisciplinary with other members, including graduate students, with special emphasis on the history of subduction in Northeast Asia and the Pacific.
