PhD Position Available – Modeling PFAS Transport in Groundwater

We are seeking a motivated PhD student to investigate PFAS transport in unconsolidated phreatic groundwater systems. The project focuses on comparing models of different complexity, from simple conceptual tools to advanced numerical simulations.

Candidate profile

• Background in hydrology, hydrogeology, environmental engineering, geosciences, or a related field
• Strong interest in groundwater modeling and contaminant transport
• Experience or a willingness to work with numerical modeling, data analysis, or programming is an advantage
