Job description

A Post-doc position in Boreal Peatland Ecosystem Ecology in Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada

We are seeking an outstanding and self-motivated candidate, with an exceptional research record, for a post-doc position in Boreal Peatland Ecosystem Ecology. This is an open position for any related topics to Boreal Peatland Ecosystem Ecology. We accept candidates who are interested in either Ecosystem Modeling or Empirical Study in Boreal Peatlands, but the preferable topic includes, but not limited to, ecosystem modeling of greenhouse gas emissions in boreal peatlands in context of climate change and human disturbance; carbon cycling and greenhouse gas emissions, vegetation dynamics, microbial dynamics, or heavy metal pollution in boreal peatlands. The geographic focus area needs to be in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada, but the research needs to have national and global significance and impacts.
