There is a vacancy for a postdoc position in physical oceanography at the Geophysical Institute, University of Bergen, Norway, and the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research. The position is for a fixed-term period of 3 years and is associated with the national Arctic Ocean 2050 program.

The appointed postdoctoral researcher will investigate how present and future changes in the Nordic Seas and Arctic overturning circulation impact water masses and circulation in the subpolar North Atlantic. The postdoc will make use of existing observations, ocean reanalyses, and numerical models.
