Hydrological Sciences (HS)
The Center for Hydrogeology and Geothermics of the University of Neuchâtel (CHYN) is advertising a position of
Senior Lecturer/Research Scientist in hydrogeology or geothermics.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in earth sciences, environmental sciences or applied physics (obtained no more than 10 years ago).
- Develop research using field investigation technics and analyses in hydrogeology and geothermics such as geophysical methods, well testing or borehole measurements.
- Solid teaching experience.
Teaching and Research Activities:
- Teaching geosciences in our bachelor's degree programs and advanced courses in our master's degree program in hydrogeology and geothermal energy.
- (Co)Supervising Bachelor, Master and PhD students.
- Develop research activities in collaboration with CHYN and Faculty of Science research groups in one or more of the following areas: field investigation methods in hydrogeology and geothermics, or related topics.
- Actively participate in the life of the institute, the management of research infrastructure, and the development of teaching and research projects.
