With this position, we are seeking a creative, ambitious, and team-oriented individual in the early stages of their scientific career who is interested in developing their own scientific profile at the intersection of meteorology, mathematics, and computer science, thereby enriching the research portfolio of the "Atmospheric Dynamics“ group at the Karlsruher Institute of Technology (KIT)—both thematically and methodologically. We are particularly interested in the application of machine learning to dynamical problems and forecasting challenges, including aspects of weather systems in a changing climate.
