Job description

The Earthquake Research Institute (ERI), as a Joint Usage / Research Center for Earthquake and Volcano Science, promotes research aimed at scientifically elucidating earthquake and volcanic phenomena and contributing to disaster mitigation, in collaboration with domestic and international researchers. In this recruitment, we invite applications for a few Assistant Professor positions from motivated individuals eager to advance the research objectives set forth in ERI's "Mission Statement"*1 by further developing "Science Plan 2022"*2, and to pioneer new research areas across disciplinary boundaries (*1 Please click here for the Mission Statement; *2 Please click here for Science Plan 2022).
