Chloe Hill

Chloe Hill is originally from Tasmania, Australia but has lived, worked and studied in Europe since 2012. Chloe has been working as the EGU’s Policy Officer in Munich since May 2017.

In this position, Chloe undertakes activities to enhance the EGU’s connection with policymakers and organisations who work at the science-policy interface. She provides EGU members with information and resources that enable them to be more actively engaged in European policy and coordinates activities that provide policymakers with scientific information from the EGU and EGU members. Chloe has a Masters in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg and a Bachelors in Environmental Science from the University of Tasmania. Prior to starting with the EGU, Chloe worked in the renewable energy sector for the African EU Energy Partnership, and as a research assistant for the Indo-German Centre for Sustainability, the Institute of Climate and Sustainable Cities, and Forestry Tasmania.
