Click here to download the poster/PICO file. I am a PhD student in the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics group at ETH Zurich. In my PhD project, which is part of the Crystal2Plate project, I investigate the influence of several mechanisms on lithospheric-scale shear localization.
Home / Awards & medals / Outstanding Student Poster (OSP) Awards / 2011 / Awnesh Singh
His EGU poster focuses on using sea surface salinity (SSS) to discriminate between ENSO events and the relative contribution of the different flavors of ENSO on natural and an thropogenic SSS trends in the tropical Pacific region.
Home / Awards & medals / Young Scientist Outstanding Poster Paper (YSOPP) Awards / 2010 / Ebrahim Shahraeeni
Click here to download the poster/PICO file. Ebrahim Shahraeeni is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zurich. He is interested in the experimental and numerical investigation of transfer phenomena in porous media during evaporation. His EGU2010 poster summarizes the key findings from his work regarding infrared thermography of evaporative surfaces where he addressed thermal signature of the phase change and mass exchange during evaporation from a heterogeneous porous surface.
