Join us on Wednesday 22 July for EGU’s first virtual “science for policy” happy hour! This networking event, which will begin at 18:00 CEST, will provide participants with the opportunity to learn about EGU’s upcoming science for policy activities and to virtually mingle with people working at the science-policy interface as well as others who may be interested in doing so.

After an initial introduction (including some ice-breaking information about Munich’s best beers), participants will be split into pre-assigned breakout rooms with colleagues who share similar interests.

A few conversation starters will be provided to start the breakout room discussions, but participants should feel free to “go with the flow” and talk about other topics of interest. We look forward to welcoming you with a caffeine-infused or alcoholic or fruit-flavoured drink – or any other kind of beverage that you enjoy!
