ERE Campfire
To participate in the campfire "ERE Campfire", you must register in advance using the button below.
Discuss current research done by the community in this seminar-style event, the first in this new Campfire series by the EGU Division on Energy, Resources and the Environment (ERE).
If you are interested in geomechanics, geothermal energy, induced seismicity, or fluid–rock interactions, this is the perfect way to start the season.
Conveners:
ERE Division.
Speakers:
Entela Kane (TU Delft & Utrecht University) - how fluid chemistry influences strength, friction, and failure in carbonate reservoirs.
Through Brazilian, UCS, and triaxial experiments combined with acoustic emission monitoring, Entela investigates what plays a stronger role in controlling rock stability: the interaction with injected fluids or the inherent heterogeneity of complex carbonate systems. If you are interested in geomechanics, geothermal energy, induced seismicity, or fluid–rock interactions, this is the perfect way to start the season.
