This webinar explores the relationship between academia and mental health, highlighting how people can be impacted throughout their career alongside pathways to guarding and improving mental health.  In this session, delivered by Ana Bastos (Leipzig University), participants will learn how to respond to the mental health crisis in academia, from both individual and collective standpoints, and how we can create institutional change towards more inclusive and balanced working environments.
 
The webinar will included time for questions and answers after the presentation.

Speaker:

Ana Bastos is currently a professor in land-atmosphere interactions at Leipzig University, and has conducted research and teaching in Portugal, the USA (U.Montana), France (LSCE), and Germany (LMU, MPI-BGC). As an openly neurodivergent scientist, Prof. Bastos is engaged in promoting diversity and inclusion and supporting work/private life balance and mental health in academia.
