Welcome to the first Campfire of the EGU Ocean Sciences Division! The Ocean Sciences Campfires are online seminar-style events which aim to give early career scientists a platform to communicate their work and connect with peers in a relaxed atmosphere. In this inaugural session, we will hear two exciting talks by our guest speakers: Dr. Alejandro Román and Dr. Nicolás Sánchez.
Talks:
Alejandro Román (Institute of Marine Sciences of Andalusia (ICMAN), Spanish National Research Council (CISC)) - Use of drone imagery in the monitoring of Antarctic coastal ecosystems
Nicolás Sánchez (GEOMAR, Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel) - Risks and co-benefits of ocean alkalinity enhancement in marine plankton communities
