The 2011 Outstanding Student Poster (OSP) Award is awarded to Kendra Kaiser for the poster/PICO entitled:

Ecohydrology: Disturbance and the intersection of vegetation pattern and landscape structure (Kaiser, K.; McGlynn, B. L.; Emanuel, R. E.; Nippgen, F.; Mallard, J. M.)

I recently obtained my B.S. from Montana State University (MSU) in both Soil & Water Science and Environmental Biology. I am currently a research assistant with Dr. Brian McGlynn in the Watershed Hydrology and Biogeosciences Lab group at MSU. I am utilizing remote sensing, topographic analyses, and field measurements to quantify relationships between hydrologic indices and forest disturbance. Additionally, I am actively pursuing and preparing for opportunities to obtain my PhD in ecohydrology. I am particularly interested in the intersection of hydrological and ecological processes and dynamics in mountain landscapes across hydro-climatic gradients.
