Yi Xiao is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Tsinghua University. Their research focuses on artificial intelligence for scientific applications, with particular interests in data assimilation, dynamical systems modeling, and high-performance computing. They have developed new approaches that integrate generative models and variational methods to improve long-term stability and accuracy in numerical weather prediction.
