The tectonic plates that make up the Earth’s crust are constantly shifting. When they collide, they can cause cataclysmic earthquakes and tsunamis, but sometimes, the effects are far less obvious. Share with your students how scientists are researching ‘silent earthquakes’ and how they might affect us all.
