Javier Amezcua – Tecnologico de Monterrey CCM Topic: Exploiting underused datasets to probe the middle and high atmosphere Knowing the current state of the atmosphere is essential to initialize numerical weather forecasts. It is not an easy task, however, to observe the global atmosphere adequately. In particular, few observations of the middle and upper atmosphere exist. Some phenomena in the Earth’s surface generate infrasound waves.
