She is currently on her last year of the PhD seeking for opportunities to continue her research with a post-doctoral position. Her PhD focus on the design of effective an efficient sampling strategies for hydromorphological (i.e. depth, velocity and substrate) data collection in rivers. Geostatistical analysis is being used to adress the research question.

His research focuses on the application of machine learning to column leaching tests, which are crucial for assessing the environmental risks of contaminated soils and waste materials reused for various construction purposes. At the awarded presentation, Amirhossein showcased his work on developing two innovative ensemble surrogate models to emulate the complex dynamics of solute transport and kinetic inter-phase mass transfer in column leaching tests.

His contribution at EGU General Assembly 2022 focuses on Lexcube.org , a web-based visualization tool that enables interactive exploration of large Earth system data cubes containing terabytes of data across space and time, making this data accessible for non-specialists and specialists alike. Lexcube.org currently hosts a variety of datasets from different domains within Earth system sciences, with over 2,500 users and 145,000 API requests since its public release in 2022.
