The patterns are obtained by using Partial Least Square method. Appart from the documented northern shift of the NAO, the results show how this pattern projects an increase of the indice at a rate of 0.10 decade. About the EA, its southern center spreads over all tropical areas with an increasing index of 0.13 decade. Also, the EATL/WRUS and SCAND patterns show more weaken structures.
