Carbon Brief, the award-winning website reporting on climate change, has developed the world’s largest database of climate change research. Containing more than 1.8 million unique publications linked by 40 million citation relationships, the Cosmos database represents the most complete and expansive mapping of human knowledge on climate change ever assembled. In conversation with EGU, the webinar will introduce and outline the development of the project and how to use it.

In this webinar, Carbon Brief’s Ayesha Tandon and Thomas Pearson will outline the motivation for developing the Cosmos database and explain how it was created. They will also share initial results, including rankings of most highly cited climate scientists, publications and institutions.

The webinar will last for one hour and will conclude with an audience Q&A.
