Marco Tangi is an Information Technology PhD student in the research group of Natural Resources Management at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano (Italy). His main research interests are large-scale modelling of river sediment connectivity, the assessment of alterations on sediment transport caused by different anthropic and natural influences and the integration of such models in the planning and management of water resources systems.
