Postdoctoral Research Associate in Biogeochemistry

Laboratory of Terrestrial Biogeochemistry (https://tinyurl.com/Laboratory-of-Terrestrial-Biog) at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel is seeking creative applicants for a postdoctoral research associate position to participate in a collaborative project aiming to understand Consequences of invasive Prosopis species for ecosystems functioning around the Dead Sea, Israel. Specifically, we are looking for an individual with good knowledge of terrestrial carbon and nitrogen cycles and their interactions and a Ph.D. in ecology, biogeochemistry, or related field. The work will be carried out at field sites around the Dead Sea. Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of publications, have strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. The position is based at the Midreshet Ben Gurion campus of the Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Midreshet Ben Gurion is one of the most peaceful, pastoral desert villages in Israel, located on the cliff of a beautiful Tzin river valley.
